JENNIFER WHITE OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior defender from Albuquerque, NM, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 14th through Sunday, October 20th. 

White led the Tiger defense to three shutouts this past week, including two road wins in SCAC play over the weekend, and a 4-0 victory over NAIA’s 21st-ranked Our Lady of the Lake on Monday.

White finished the week with three assists, scoring all three points against SCAC opponents over the weekend.  She had one assist in Friday’s shutout of Centenary, then grabbed a pair of helpers against Austin on Sunday.  

The Tiger defense, led by White, allowed just six total shots over the past week, and just one of those was on goal.  Against SCAC opponents, White paced a defense that allowed just two total shots – none of which were on goal.
