LINDSAY EUERS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior midfielder from Austin, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 19 through Sunday, September 25.
Euers led Trinity to its sixth consecutive
shutout on Friday night, defeating Our Lady of the Lake University
4-0.
The Tigers gave up just one first-half shot in the game,
and didn’t allow a corner kick in the victory.
Euers also got in on the scoring, pushing across
the team’s final goal in the 89th minute. With her
leadership, the Tigers have not allowed a goal in more than 600
minutes. For the season, Euers has scored two
goals for the Tigers, and the defense has given up just two total
goals in recording seven shutouts.
