JESSICA VARNER OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a freshman from Baton Rouge, La., was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's Co-Golfer of the Week for competitions through Wednesday, March 23rd.
Varner made a huge move up the leaderboard on the final day of the Hal Sutton intercollegiate, improving from 10th to finish fifth. She turned in the low round of day one, finishing with a 78. She careded an 84 on day one. Centenary moved up a spot on the final day to finish third, including surpassing NCAA Division I Jackson State.
