SARA BOWEN OF RHODES COLLEGE, a senior right-hander from Nollensville, Tenn has been selected the SCAC Softball Co-Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 7 through Sunday, March 13.

Bowen went 3-1 on the week with 16 innings pitched striking out 32 batters allowing just seven hits and two runs (0.88 ERA).  Earned a win in relief against MacMurray, pitching 1 1/3 scoreless innings, then picked up her second save of the season against Westminster on Saturday, striking out the side in the 7th.  On Sunday, Bowen tossed a 1-hit shutout vs. Eureka over five innings in the Lynx 10-0 win. Bowen earned the win in the Lynx 8-7, extra inning win over Westminster pitching the final 1 2/3 innings without allowing a hit.
