TYLER ADAMS OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Olden, Texas, has been named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week for meets held through Sunday, April 9th. This is Adams' second consecutive Field Athlete of the Week award.

Adams won the hammer throw at the University of the Incarnate Word Invitational last week, marking a new Southwestern University record with a throw of 49.43 meters. This mark keeps him at the top of the SCAC leader-board in the hammer.

Adams also placed fourth in the discus (39.72 meters) which moves him to fourth on the SCAC leaderboard. Additionally, he placed fifth in the shot put (11.98 meters)

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Miro Ronac Giannone of Trinity University won the javelin at the UIW Invitational, recording a throw of 49.15 meters to take the conference lead.
