SPENCER STEWARD OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Kearney, Mo., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets swam Monday, January 27 to Sunday, February 2.
Steward was in fine form against Division I UIW on Friday. He ended up with a pair of second-place finishes - earning runner-up status in both the 50 breast (26.8) and the 150 breast (1:31.49) taking the 100 out in 58.7.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Jacob Jones of University of the Ozarks finished out his last home meet against Williams Baptist College with first-place finishes in the 50 back, 50 free and 100 free while also anchoring the 400 free relay for the win.
