STEPHEN CULBERSON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Sugar Land, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, October 26th.

Culberson posted some very fast times during Trinity's comeback win against UT Permian Basin on October 25.

To start things off, he anchored the Tiger's 1:40.32 200 medley relay with a blazing 20.44. Culberson's next race was the 200 freestyle, in which he recorded a 1:46.59. After UTPB won three of the next four events, Culberson turned the tide, posting a 47.64 in the 100 freestyle and leading the Tigers to a 1-2-3 sweep in the century sprint.

Trinity's men then put the pedal to the medal and won four out the next five events, giving their 400 freestyle relay entry the opportunity to seal the deal on the team win. Once again, Culberson stepped up big time. Swimming the second leg of the sprint relay, he contributed a 46.79 split to a winning time of 3:14.61.
