Reid led the third-ranked Tiger men's soccer team to a pair of road wins against two of the top three teams in the SCAC this weekend, defeating Dallas and Colorado College.
Reid returned to the lineup to keep Trinity on top of the SCAC standings with the wins, including the team's sixth shutout of the season on Sunday at Colorado. Reid and the Tiger defense limited Colorado to just 11 shots on Sunday.
Friday's win over Dallas also gave Trinity a regular season series split with the Crusaders.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior goalkeeper Theo Hooker of Colorado College recorded his sixth shutout of the season and the 32nd of his career against Schreiner on Friday. He also stopped three of the four shots on the weekend, including a penalty kick against Trinity on Sunday. Freshman defender Brendan Dauth of Southwestern University helped the Pirates to a 4-0 shutout on Sunday, while also providing a spark offensively and scoring the fourth goal of the game. Sophomore defender Eduardo Lopez-Rivera of Texas Lutheran University made two starts for the Bulldogs this week in victorious matches over Centenary College and Austin College. In the 3-0 shutout win over Centenary, Lopez-Rivera put up strong defense for the Bulldogs allowing Centenary only one shot on goal.
