YURI RIBIERO OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior midfielder from Salvador, Brazil., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 17 through Sunday, September 23.
Ribeiro led Trinity to a pair of SCAC wins
last weekend, defeating both the University of Dallas and Colorado
College.
Ribeiro scored two goals and an assist over the weekend to lead the Tigers in scoring. He netted back-to-back goals on Friday against Dallas, including the eventual game-winner early in the second half.
For the season, Ribeiro leads Trinity with five goals and five assists for 15 total points. He is tied for the team lead with two game-winning goals for the Tigers.
