TIM JENKINS OF
COLORADO COLLEGE a senior defender from Baltimore,
Md., has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 8 through
Sunday, April 14.
Jenkins recorded a season-best five caused
turnovers and grabbed four ground balls as Colorado College
clinched its fourth consecutive SCAC regular-season championship
with a 12-4 victory over Southwestern on Sunday.
Jenkins and the Tigers defense held the SCAC's scoring leader, Jamie Long, without a point and allowed him to take just two shots. CC has now limited seven opponents to fewer than five goals in a game and lowered its team goals-against average to 6.23.
Jenkins leads the Tigers with 22 caused turnovers and is sixth with 31 ground balls.
