CADE OSGOOD OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Austin, Texas, has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for competitions played through Tuesday, October 25th.
Osgood finished in a tie for seventh place at the Abilene Intercollegiate this week, helping Southwestern to a third place finish in the field of eight teams.
Osgood shot rounds of 74, 75 to total 149 (+7) over the two days to finish the highest among all SCAC players competing.
Other outstandings performances in the SCAC:
Kraig Zimmerhanzel of Texas Lutheran finished in a tie for 12th place, posting a 150 (+8), including the team's lowest round (72) on Tuesday. Brodey Warner of Centenary College recorded a 152 (+10) through the event, leading the next closest Gent by more than 11 shots.
