NATHAN HALEY OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Richmond, Texas, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for competitions played through Tuesday, September 27.
Haley posted the best finish of any SCAC athlete competing at the Al Jones Memorial Invitational, finishing in a tie fo 17th after the shortened tournament.
Haley tallied a 36-hole mark of 148 (+4) after rounds of 75 and 73 on Monday.
The Bulldogs will take a short break before continuing the fall season at the Trinity University Alamo City Classic on October 17-18 in San Antonio, Texas.
Other outstandings performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Jesse Hall of Centenary College finished in a tie for 36th with a 152 (+8) at the Al Jones Memorial to help lead the Gents
