KALEN VOS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Weslaco, Texas, has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played from Wednesday, April 3 through Tuesday, April 9.

Vos, a three-time SCAC Player-of-the-Week this season, won the West Region Invitational (hosted by Southwestern University) at the Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown, Texas.

Vos shot 74-74-74 (222) over April 8th and 9th, playing the par 5s at -3, which tied for best in 40-player field. He had seven birdies and 37 pars over the 54-hole event.
