HAYDEN JONES OF OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Orlando, Fla., has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 6.
Jones fired a two day total of 149 (76-73) to claim third out of 47 golfers at the Wynlakes Wynter Nationals in Montgomery, Alabama. At five over par Jones was the top finisher for the Petrels who saw all five golfers finish in the top 20 individually.
Jones led the Petrels to a come
from behind team victory out of eight schools with a two day
total score of 606 (304-302).
