NICK JEWETT OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior first baseman from Phoenix, Ariz., has been named the SCAC Baseball Offensive Co-Player of the Week for games played Monday, March 21st through Sunday, March 27th.
Jewett led top-ranked Trinity to a three-game SCAC road series sweep at #12 Centenary over the weekend, extending the Tiger winning streak to seven games. He hit .600 (6-10) during the crucial series, crushing two doubles and a home run for a 1.100 slugging percentage over three games. He was hit by a pitch twice, and drew a walk for an on-base percentage of .643 for the weekend.
Jewett had four runs scored and a team-leading seven RBI, accounting for 31% of the team's runs for the weekend. He had at least two hits in each game, drove in a run in each game, and scored in all three as well. He was 2-4 with two runs and three RBI in the opening game of the series, followed by a 2-3 performance in game two. Jewett finished his weekend with 2-3 with three RBI to lead Trinity to the series sweep.

Junior catcher Zach San Roman of Dallas garnered a career-high five RBI game against Arlington Baptist College at QuikTrip Park last Wednesday. Junior outfielder Colby Schrade of Texas Lutheran had a pair of hits, scored two runs and hit .400 in a doubleheader split Friday at the University of Texas at Dallas. Sophomore infielder Sam Pistrui of Schreiner University helped lead the Mountaineers to a 1-2 weekend vs Southwestern.
