MEGAN KOCH OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, has been named the SCAC Women’s Runner of the Week for meets ran through Sunday, September 29th.
Koch placed second at the New Mexico Highlands Invitational while leading the team to the team title. Koch ran her fastest 5k of the season with a time of 19:35.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Grace Ringen of St. Thomas finished fourth at the Concordia Cross Country Classic on Friday. Ringen finished the 6K race with a time of 26:24 placing 23rd overall. Senior Kylee Garcia of Texas Lutheran finished the 6K course with a time of 24:47 placing 13th and leading the Bulldogs to sixth place overall at the Concordia Cross Country Classic. Senior Rachel Seligson of Johnson & Wales ran a personal best 5K time of 21:33 placing 14th at the NHMU Cross Country Jam.
