LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Eight of the 10 SCAC Volleyball teams were in action this past week, highlighted by No. 10 Trin-ity posting the only undefeated mark of the week. 

No. 10 Trinity is now 5-0 in conference matches (13-3 overall), after a pair of wins over St. Thomas (3-1) and Schreiner (3-0). The Tigers defeated St. Thomas on Wednesday with Annie Rose Leggett leading the way with 19 digs and 11 kills. In its travel partner matchup against Schreiner on Thursday, Trinity hit .336 as a team and held Schreiner under .100 overall with Leggett once again pacing the Tigers with 10 digs, adding 11 kills for her seventh double-double of the season.

Southwestern (3-1 SCAC; 10-6 overall) spilt matches over the week, with a 3-1 loss to Concor-dia (Texas) on the road on Tuesday before bouncing back a day later to take down Our Lady of the Lake at home on Wednesday, 3-0. In the victory, freshman Riley Brantley led the way for the Pirates posting 12 kills on a .706 hitting percentage. 

Texas Lutheran (2-2 SCAC; 9-8 overall) also went 1-1, posting a non-conference loss at Huston-Tillotson before rebounding with a 3-1 a conference win against St. Thomas at home on Wednesday. Bryten Mitchan and Cailey Young led the Bulldogs in the win against the Celts, posting a combined 19 total kills.  

After dropping two conference matches on Wednesday, St. Thomas (2-4 SCAC; 4-8 overall) posted a 3-1 victory at home on Saturday against Centenary. Alaina Lanik led the way for the Celts with 11 kills and 19 digs. 

In Dallas’s (2-3 SCAC; 7-10 overall) only match of the week the Crusaders fell in five sets against LeTourneau, 3-2. Krystyn Pua posted 24 digs and Larissa Ramirez added 22 for the Cru-saders.

Johnson & Wales (0-4 SCAC; 2-13 overall) went 0-3 against tough competition at the Nebraska Wesleyan/Prairie Wolf Invitational over the weekend. In the team’ tightest match of the week, a loss to Central (Iowa), Brooke Pexton matched a season-high with 14 kills.

All ten SCAC Volleyball teams are back in action next week, highlighted by the first cross-divisional of the season on Saturday and Sunday at Schreiner University. Among the featured matchups, No. 10 Trinity will tangle with No. 11 Colorado College on Saturday.
