LORAN CROWELL OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a sophomore from Salvisa, Ky., has been named the SCAC Women’s Track Athlete-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, March 29 through Sunday, April 4.
Crowell had an outstanding day at the Centre Track & Field Invitational this past weekend.
She won the women's javelin throw with a mark of 114'4". This mark currently ranks Crowell first in the conference in that event.
Crowell also threw 112'6" in the women's hammer throw and threw 110'11" in the women's discus throw placing her high in all of her events in the meet and ranking her in the top five in all of her events within the SCAC.
