MEGAN FLORES AND CATE CUSHING OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matched played from Monday, March 21 to Sunday, March 27. (SCAC Women's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 8)

Flores, a senior from Houston, Texas, and Cushing, a sophomore from Colleyville, Texas, put together a 3-2 record across five matchups against nationally-ranked teams last week for the Tigers. While the pair was only forced into one tiebreaker in its three victories, its two losses came against the nation's second- and third-ranked doubles teams from No. 1 Chicago and No. 6 Tufts, respectively.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
 First-year Christina Heffron and sophomore Elizabeth Girian of Colorado College went 3-0 at No. 3 doubles to pace the Tigers in wins versus regionally-ranked Luther and Pacific (Ore.). The duo finished out the week on Wednesday with a comeback win against Trinity (Conn.) to keep CC in the match going into singles play. Junior Taylor Despriet and first-year Lauren Chisholm of Southwestern scored an 8-4 victory over No. 1 Chicago's Miranda Yuan and Cara O'Flaherty at No. 3 doubles on Thursday.
