Lindsay Hagmann, Trinity University, Swimmer of the Week (Week 2)

LINDSAY HAGMANN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Baton Rouga, La., has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, October 16th.

Hagmann helped the Tiger women's swimming & diving teams start off the season with three dual-meet victories over the weekend, defeating Centenary on Friday night, and winning a double dual meet against McMurry and Colorado College on Saturday.

Hagmann swam a 23.9 50 free split to anchor the winning 200 medley relay on Friday, then swam the breaststroke split of the 400 medley relay in 1:10.91 to help win that as well. On Saturday, she swam a 53.82 100 free anchor leg in the 400 free relay for another relay victory.

Hagmann also won the 200 free on Friday, which was her only individual event on the night. On Saturday, she added both the 50 free and 100 free titles to her relay win to wrap up the weekend. 53.82 100 free anchor time on Saturday.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Jessica Jordan of Centenary College won the 200 breast against Trinity with a time of 2:38.43. She also split a 1:13.96 on the breaststroke leg of the 400 medley relay. Sophomore Jio Chang of Colorado College came away with five wins over two days. On Friday, she was part of the winning 400 medley relay, and took the 200 IM (2:17.4) and the 200 Fly (2:24.81). Against Trinity and McMurry, she won the 200 medley relay and the 100 Fly (1:01.56).
