BOBBI JONES OF MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a senior forward from Homewood, Ala., has been selected the SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 1 through Sunday, September 7.

Jones had a breakout weekend for Millsaps in helping the Majors get out to their best overall start in 20+ years.  The Homewood, Ala.,  native had four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points, recording a hat-trick in the 5-0 win over Agnes Scott on Sunday - the first for the Majors since Amanda Paschall had three goals against Louisiana College on Sept. 11, 2004.

On Friday night against Louisiana College, Jones had a pair of assists in addition to a goal in a 5-1 win.  She actually scored two goals in the win over LC, but her second was awarded a corner kick after going through the left side of the net and out the other side.
