HAYLEY MIESSE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior midfielder has been selected the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Co-Player of the Week for matches played Monday, September 12th through Sunday, September 18th.
Miesse posted 4 goals through two games against Centenary and Austin College. Miesse scored a hat trick against against Centenary with two of her goals coming from corners.
Miesse had an amazingly efficient week in front of goal with a 100% shots on goal percentage against Centenary to increase her conference average to .800 for the season.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior forward Meredith Licata of Trinity University opened the offensive scoring against Dallas with her second goal of the season in the 51st minute, then assisted on the goal that made it a 3-0 Tiger lead. Freshman forward Katie Morton of Texas Lutheran University scored the game winner and had an assist in the Bulldogs' 4-1 conference win over Centenary.
