LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. --  The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Tournament is set to return for the first time since 2012 this Saturday and Sunday April 27-28 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, hosted by Colorado College.

Colorado College has earned the top seed following a 15-1 regular season campaign that saw them climb to No. 21 in the nation after opening the season with a program best 14 game winning streak. The Tigers are led by Eva King, who has registered 81 total points on 41 goals and 40 assists. CC will take on No. 4 Johnson & Wales in the opening semifinal contest Saturday at 11:00 AM MDT. The Wildcats finished the regular season with a 2-12 record and were led by Ashley Guerrero with 30 total points on 25 goals and five assists.

In the second semifinal Southwestern earned the No. 2 seed and Dallas the No. 3 seed as the Pirates and Crusaders will square off following the opening game at 2:00 PM MDT. Southwestern finished the season with a 6-5 record and was paced offensively by Hayley Donnelly who amassed 81 points on 41 goals and 40 assists. Dallas concluded the regular season with an overall record of 3-9 and was led by Lexi Leite who scored a SCAC leading 52 goals on the season. This will be the second meeting between Southwestern and Dallas this season as the Pirates defeated the Crusaders, 21-10, back on March 2nd.

The winner of the two semifinal contests will meet up on Sunday April 28th, at 12:00 PM MDT with the winner earning the title of SCAC Champion.
