Milton opened her college career by leading Trinity to a 1-1 record at the Together Tigers Tournament over the weekend, scoring in double figures in a pair of contests against top-10 teams in the national. On opening night against No. 8 George Fox, Milton came off the bench and made a huge splash in her collegiate debut, hitting 7-for-11 from the field and 4-for-6 from three-point range on her way to 18 points in Trinity’s 74-55 win over the Bruins. She also added three rebounds, two steals and one assist in the win. The rookie would follow that performance with 10 points on 3-for-5 shooting against No. 9 St. Thomas (Minn.) the following night.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior guard Ann Savage of Austin College had an outstanding all-around game as the 'Roos won their season opener, scoring 15 points on 55.6% shooting from the field, including hitting 3-of-5 three pointers, and adding seven assists against zero turnovers. Savage also came away with four steals and three rebounds in the victory over Rhodes last Sunday. Junior forward McKenzee Gertz of Colorado College finished with a double-double in the opener for the Tigers, finishing with 17 points on 5-for-6 shooting from behind the three-point line and adding 10 rebounds in a losing effort to Whitworth. Junior forward Noel Pratts of Southwestern averaged 11.5 points on 52.6 percent shooting and added 3.5 rebounds as the Pirates opened the year with losses to Redlands and Chapman. Junior post Abby Hroch of Texas Lutheran averaged 7.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in an 0-2 week for the Bulldogs. Hroch had six points and 11 rebounds in the loss to Hardin-Simmons. She scored eight and had four rebounds in the loss to McMurry.
