Bryce Frank, Austin College, Player of the Week (Week 4)

BRYCE FRANK OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a senior forward from Granbury, Texas., has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played from Monday, November 26 through Sunday, December 2. 

Frank averaged 23.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in a pair of games for the ‘Roos last week, posting a double-double in the team’s first setback of the year against Millsaps before bouncing back with 31 points and 13 rebounds in a huge road win over previously unbeaten Rhodes. Her 31 points was the most scored in the SCAC so far this season. She shot 45.2 percent from the field and 79.2 percent from the free throw line, adding 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks-per-game.

Other Outstanding Performances:

Senior guard Casey Torbet led Colorado College with 16 points and seven assists in the Tiger’s 68-51 loss to Emrby-Riddle. Southwestern senior forward Tori Carraway had a double-double in the Pirates’ loss to Rhode on Friday collecting 18 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore forward Abby Hroch of Texas Lutheran averaged 10.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game last week.
