KELLY JURDEN OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior outfielder from Brenham, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Hitter of the Week for games played from Monday, April 5 through Sunday, April 11.
Jurden hit 1.000 for the week with seven hits in seven at-bats as the Bulldogs swept a three-game conference series from the University of Dallas. Jurden had at least two hits in every game and scored nine runs in the three games. She also stole six bases, walked three times, and drove in a run. She reached base all 11 times she came to the plate.

Garrett hit .600 (6-for-10) with seven RBI, four runs scored and a .636 on-base percentage. Freshman Marina Delaluna of Trinity posted a 4-for-8 performance at the plate in the Tiges’ series victory over Centenary last weekend including a solo homer, her team-best third longball of the season, to run-rule the Ladies in the series' first outing, 9-1.
