HARRY BELLOW OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Kingwood, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Runner of the Week for meets ran through Sunday, September 22th.
Bellow led Trinity’s men’s team to a second-place finish at the Saints Invitational on Saturday. He finished the race with a time of 26:37.5, placing fifth individually in his first 8K race of the season.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Noah Dennis of Southwestern placed 12th out of 91 runners with a time of 27:51.5, an average pace of 5:36.2 a mile at the Saints Invitational. Freshman Thomas Lagarde of Dallas ran led the team with a time of 27:57.7 an average pace of 5:37.5 a mile at the Muthama-Rogers Invitaitonal. Lagarde cracked the top 10 placing ninth individually, as he ran in his first collegiate 8k.
