HANOVER, Ind. - Paced by a 10th-place finish by senior Chase Wilson, the Centre College men's team finished 5th out of 20 teams at the Pre-National race held at Hanover College in Hanover, Ind.

Wilson (Paducah, Ky.) finished with a time of 25:58:11.

The next Centre male runner to the cross the finish line was senior Joey Polio (Owensboro, Ky.) with a time of 26:11:93 good for a 17th place finish. The men's team finished fifth overall out of the 20 teams competing with a point total of 168.

The men's race was won overall by nationally-ranked Allegheny College. Finishing first place in the men's race was Dan Greeno from Bethel College with a time of 25:31:32.

Other SCAC teams competing in the Pre-National included DePauw University (8th) and Rhodes College (T-13th)

Hanover College will host the NCAA III finals Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Ayres Complex.
