PARIS FOSTER OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Magnolia, Texas, has been named the SCAC Track Athlete of the Week for meets held through Sunday, April 16th.
Foster earned a first place finish in the 110 meter hurdles at the McMurry Open last week, recording a time of 15.28 seconds.
This mark broke the Texas Lutheran record in the event and boosted him to second overall in the SCAC standings.
Other outstandings performances in the SCAC:
Senior Conor Terhune of Colorado College ran the 3,000 meter steeplechase last week, posting a time of 10:03.65. This time ranks second in the conference. Sophomore John Hattan of Southwestern University won the steeplechase at the McMurry Open, recording a new personal best with a time of 10:13.24. Freshman Colton Hawkins of Trinity University ran a personal best in the 800 meter run last week, finishing in a time of 1:57.07.
