GREG COOK OF RHODES COLLEGE, a senior from Bellaire, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Field Athlete-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, March 15 through Sunday, March 21.
Cook threw the javelin for the first time this season, placing sixth with a distance of 173 feet, 7 inches at the Rhodes Open Meet. His throw currently ranks him second in the conference.
Cook also competed in the triple jump and anchored the 4x400m relay team to a fourth place finish.
