HUNTER BAJOIT OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from The Woodlands, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, February 3 through Sunday, February 9.

Senior Matthew Jimenez of Schreiner went 1-1 on the week, earning a hard-fought 7-5, 4-6, 10-2 victory over St. Thomas' Race Haas at the No. 2 line to pick up the Mountaineers' only singles victory of the match. Senior Alex Talley of Texas Lutheran won at No. 1 singles for the Bulldogs in their close 5-4 loss at Howard Payne. Talley defeated Ben Blanchard 6-4, 6-3. Junior Wilson Hamilton of Trinity split a pair of matches on the road as the #13 Tigers lost to #1 Tyler Junior College and Division I Abilene Christian over the weekend. Hamilton began his day with a 6-4, 6-0 win at #3 singles in the team's match against top-ranked Tyler JC. His loss came against Division I Abilene Christian and he stands 2-3 in singles so far this season.
