KEITH GILL OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Spring, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for his performance during the week spanning October 22nd through October 28th.
Swimming in his first-ever collegiate meet, Gill paced the Pirates by playing a hand in 40 points, winning both of his individual events and serving as the anchor leg in the men's winning 200 medley relay, which finished with a time of 1:38.87 as the Pirates defeated Austin College, 203-74.
Gill also participated on the 200 Yard free relay, which finished with a 1:28.23 time.
He completed the 50 free with a time of 21.61 and had a 47.24 final time in the 100 free, beating Austin College's second-place finisher Brady Sullivan by roughly two seconds.

Freshman Daniel Sarman of Trinity University opened his performance at the UIW meet with a 24.22 split on the butterfly leg of the 200 medley relay and then came back with a well-paced performance in the 200 freestyle, splitting 52.26 / 52.71 for a final time of 1:44.97 (placing him 20th in the current NCAA Division III 200 freestyle rankings). Sarman then clocked a 1:57.42 in the 200 backstroke before leading off a TU 200 freestyle relay entry with a time of 22.21.
