TYLER PERFITT OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Evansville, Ind., has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, January 10 through Sunday, January 16.
Perfitt posted two life time best and one near best this past weekend. In the 500 free he went 5:06.69, which was a 7.76 second drop from his previous lifetime best.
He continued with another lifetime best by swimming a time of 18:07.90 in the 1,650 free (13.36 second drop).
Perfitt ended the week by clocking a 1:53.62 200 free, missing out on a lifetime best by just four-tenths of a second.

Erik
won the 200Free with a time of 1:47.14 and placed 2nd in
the 100yd fly with a time of 53.74. Erik also led off the
winning 200 free relay with a 22.79. On Sunday’s meet
against Colorado College Erik placed first in the 200 free with a
time of 1:47.74 and the 200 fly with a time of 2:00.38. Erik
also led off the winning 400 free relay with a 49.90.
