SCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Recap - Week Twelve

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Six of the league's seven teams were in the pool this past week, with intra-conference duals between Austin College and Centenary and Southwestern and Trinity highlighting the action.

Centenary claimed an 80-61 win over Austin College on Saturday as the Gents celebrated Senior Day.

Junior Zachary Harrison paced the Gents with wins in the 100 and 200 freestyles. He led a trio of Centenary swimmers to finish 1-2-3 in the 200. Harrison touched the wall in 1:51.96, freshman Jordan St. Pierre clocked in at 1:54.59, and sophomore Harrison Folse recorded a time of 1:56.66.

Harrison took the 100 freestyle with a time of 48.63, while St. Pierre claimed his own win in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:10.90.

In Georgetown, the Southwestern men's team earned a 161-127 victory over Trinity on Saturday afternoon at Walzel Natatorium.

The Pirates won 12 events, including both relays.

Freshman Todd Coachman swept both the 100- and 200-yard freestyles, while junior Mickey Scharbrough was a two-time victor in the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes.
