O’QUAIN OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY a junior
goalie from Houston, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's
Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday,
April 11 through Sunday, April 17.
O'Quain was outstanding in goal for the Pirates as
he fended off a barrage of shots by the Warriors to help the
Pirates to the win, recording 16 saves.
O’Quain also tallied five ground balls while causing a turnover in the Pirates’ 9-8 (2OT) win over Hendrix. The win gave Southwestern the fourth and final spot in the inaugural SCAC men’s lacrosse tournament this coming weekend.
