SUTHERLAND STITH OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Co-Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through October 16th.
Stith finished in a tie for fifth with teammate Cade Osgood out of 90 athletes at the prestigious Golfweek Div. III Fall Invitational. The senior fired a 54-hole total of 209 (68-70-71), good enough for four-under par on the par-71 course. In three days, Stith finished with 10 birdies and was one of just four athletes to post an eagle.
Stith also led the Pirates to a third-place finish out of 18 teams with a three-round score of 856 (282-292-282).
