JOSEPH WOLCIK OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY named SCAC Male Co-Golfer of the Year.

Wolcik was the top freshman at the 2017 SCAC Men's Golf Championship - finishing in a tie for third with a three-round total of 230 (79-73-78). He earned First Team All-SCAC honors in the process. During the 2016-17 season, Wolcik averaged 74.05 and posted three top 5 finishes and four finishes in the top 10. Among his highlights during the season, he capped a wire-to-wire win by an impressive five shots to claim the James S. Litz Memorial against a field of 71 scholarship players from NCAA Division I, NAIA and junior colleges. He had a season-low round of 66 during the event and earned SCAC Golfer-of-the-Week for his efforts.
