Harvey led the Tigers to a record of 2-0 this week knocking off Geneva, 78-63, and Univ. of Wisconsin-Stevens Point 84-63 in non-conference action. He was dominant in both games, ending the week with a season-high 30 points against UWSP. For the week he averaged 22.5 points per game on an outstanding 54.2 percent field goal percentage. He also added 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Trinity now sits at 7-4 overall.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior forward Andrew Adebo of St. Thomas came off the bench to lead the Celts to a gritty home win against LeTourneau last Tuesday. Adebo recorded a double-double, with 10 points on 62.5 percent shooting and 10 rebounds and a steal in the win. Sophomore guard Jackson Rennie of Austin College scored a team-high 24 points and had a steal in the Roos’ nail-bitting win in overtime against Ripon. Rennie made 54.5 percent (6-for-11) of his shots from three. That marks at least four made threes in four of his last five games. Junior forward Jack Boyle of Dallas led the Crusaders to back-to-back wins this week for the first time this season, defeating Hendrix and Ripon. He averaged 21.5 points, 15.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, highlighted by his 23-point, 21 rebound performance in the win over the Redhawks. His 21 rebounds were a career-high.
