ANDRAY THOMAS OF JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY, a freshman guard from Denver, Colorado, has been named the SCAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played from Monday, December 2nd through Sunday, December 8th.
Thomas led the Wildcats in a 20-point non-conference win over Oglala Lakota, 92-72. The freshman posted his third double-double of the season with 23 points and 11 rebounds while adding four assists. Thomas currently leads the SCAC in Points (147) and Rebounds (68).
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Caleb Lister of Texas Lutheran led the Bulldogs recording 15 points and seven rebounds in their loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor. Sophomore Ty Prince of Centenary led the Gents scoring 26 points while adding five rebounds and two assists in the 99-83 loss to LeTourneau on Tuesday.
