JAMES LONERGAN OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior forward from Dallas, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Monday, December 21st through Sunday, January 3rd.
Lonergan led Colorado College to four victories in five games over a seven-day span. CC defeated Centenary twice, and its only loss was against No. 20 Wisconsin-Whitewater. He was named to the all-tournament team at the 2015 Pikes Peak Holiday Classic.
Lonergan also scored a career-high 22 points in Sunday's win over Centenary. He dished out a career-best six assists in both victories over the Gents, led CC in rebounding four times, narrowly missed a double-double on two occasions, finishing with nine rebounds against Concordia University and during Saturday's win over Centenary.

Junior forward Stephen Igbinosa of Austin College had a huge week for Austin College in helping the 'Roos go 2-1, averaging 13.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks per game while shooting 54.3% from the field. Junior guard Lorenzo Gonzalez of Dallas combined for 39 points and averaged 19.5 points-per-game (ppg) in two games last week. Junior forward Wes Miller of Schreiner averaged 19.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists for the Mountaineers that helped lead to two victories over UW Platteville and McMurry. Juior guard Chris Molina of Southwestern averaged 18 points per contest through three games and led the team in steals with 10. Junior guard Sterling Holmes of Texas Lutheran led TLU to a 2-1 week by averaging 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
