Travion Kirkendoll, Centenary College, Player of the Week (Week Two)

TRAVION KIRKENDOLL OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a sophomore guard from Campti, La., has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Monday, November 16th through Sunday, November 22nd. 

Kirkendoll easily took over the conference lead in scoring with a trio of 20+ scoring games, including breaking his career-high in points both Saturday and Sunday to help Centenary sweep both games in the SCAC/SAA Classic. He has scored 20+ points in all four games this season for the Gents.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior guard Brian Baehl of Austin College averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in three wins last week. Junior guard Sterling Holmes of Texas Lutheran University averaged 21 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.5 steals per game at the University of Puget Sound McArthur Classic. Sophomore guard Matt Jones of Trinity University scored 25 points over two games, racked up 13 assists, shot 8-14 (.571) from the field, and hit 8-10 free throws (.800). Sophomore guard Connor Kim of Southwestern University led the Pirates this week with 18.5 points per game in two games, shooting 35.3% from the floor , 30.8% from three point range and 75% from the free throw line.
