JORDAN KOUREMETIS OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior guard from San Antonio, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Monday, January 18th through Sunday, January 24th.

Kouremetis led TLU to a pair of key conference home wins by averaging 20.5 points and shooting 50 percent from the field. Kouremetis also averaged 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals. He shot 45 percent from the three-point line and made nine total three-pointers.

In the win over Colorado, Kouremetis scored 25 and went 6-for-9 from the three-point line. In the win over Centenary, he added 16 points and made three three-pointers.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior forward Stephen Igbinosa of Austin College averaged a double-double to help the 'Roos past Schreiner and Trinity. Sophomore forward John Hatch of Colorado College averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 blocks and 2.5 assists per contest last week. Junior forward Kendall Demouchet of Centenary College averaged 22 points per game and made 54.8 percent of his shots from the field. Sophomore Ryan Ogden of Southwestern University averaged 14.5 points per game and nine rebounds this week, shooting just under 50% from the floor. Junior guard Michael Sarrat of Dallas averaged 17.5 points-per-game and combined for 35 total in a pair of victories this past weekend for the Crusaders. Junior forward AJ Pulliam of Trinity University averaged 17.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest last week.
