CHRIS LESNANSKY OF COLORADO
COLLEGE, a junior forward from Denver, Colo.,
has been selected the SCAC Men’s Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 10th
through Sunday, February 16th.
Lesnansky averaged 22.5 points and 4.0
rebounds per game to help Colorado College win a pair of road games
last week.
Lesnansky made 15 of 29 (.517)
field-goal attempts and 15 of 17 free throws.
In Friday’s 69-60 victory at Austin, he posted a
game-high 22 points and grabbed five rebounds. During the 77-70
triumph at Centenary the following
night, Lesnansky finished
with a game-high 23 points and had three rebounds despite playing
the final 10:42 with four fouls, keeping the Tigers alive for a No.
2 seed at the SCAC Tournament.
He surpassed the 20-point mark for the ninth time this
season. With 55 points last
week, Lesnansky climbed
four spots to No. 16 on CC’s all-time scoring list with 1,060
points.
