KALEB KIRK OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a senior right-handed pitcher from Nacogdoches, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played through Sunday, February 4th.
Kirk opened his senior campaign with a win on the mound over Pacific (Ore.).
Kirk is off to a strong start, putting in 6.2 innings of work and striking out 10 batters, five of which were looking. He allowed just three infield hits in the game, but held the Boxers scoreless.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior right-handed pitcher of Schreiner University eared a win over Concordia University (TX), going 6.0 innings on the mound and allowing just two earned runs. Senior pitcher Dylan Drgac of Texas Lutheran University scored a win in a 5-0 victory against Pacific Lutheran, allowing just three hits and no runs in 5.0 innings.
