LYNDEN
PINDLING OF RHODES COLLEGE, a 5-9, 170-pound
sophomore infielder from Nassau, Bahamas has been named the SCAC
Offensive Baseball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday,
February 28 through Sunday, March 6.
Pindling hit .467 for the week ( 7 – 15 )
with an on-base percentage of .556 while tallying a .733 slugging
percentage (1.289 OPS). Pindling totaled
seven runs scored, six RBI, two doubles and a triple on the
week.
On Tuesday, Pindling came up with the bases
loaded, two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and drove a ball
into the gap for a walk off double as Rhodes defeated North
Carolina Wesleyan 6-5.
On the season Pindling is hitting .457
ranking him fourth in the SCAC.
