As it usually does, the free throw line proved to be an important aspect of the game, as Centenary hit 23-26 from the foul line. Schreiner connected on just 22-33 at the line. The Gents also hit 60% in the second half, erasing a 39-30 halftime deficit.

James Sapp came off the bench to lead Centenary with 11 rebounds, as well as contributing six points and a pair of steals. Caden Cheramie finished with nine points and three assists.

Centenary will face off against tournament host Trinity University in the SCAC Championship game tomorrow at noon. The Tigers and Gents split two meetings during the regular season.
