Shreveport
Shreveport ranks third in population in Louisiana after New Orleans and Baton Rouge and 126th in the U.S. Shreveport was founded in 1836 by the Shreve Town Company, a corporation established to develop a town at the juncture of the newly navigable Red River and the Texas Trail, an overland route into the newly independent Republic of Texas. Shreveport is the educational, commercial and cultural center of the Ark-La-Tex region, where Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas meet.
Centenary Softball Complex
The Centenary Softball Complex has evolved into one of the finest collegiate playing venues in the region after several recent renovations. The complex offers brand new dugouts, a new press box, a new backstop with netting, a new sound system, and a reconfigured visitor's bullpen. The facility also includes a lighted and covered three-tunnel batting cage, a dual home bullpen, and wireless internet. Restrooms and a concession stand for the fans are located just steps from the bleachers.
