LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.
- Seven of the league's nine women's cross country teams were in action last week, highlighted by Trinity taking second place at the McMurry University Bill Libby Invitational.

Running with a split squad, the Trinity women scored 65 points to fall just short of the top spot at the Bill Libby Invitational. Five runners broke their personal records in the meet and six Tigers finished in the top 25 individually. Liliana Perez and Elaine Kaster were ninth and 10th, respectively, and both also set new personal bests in the meet. Perez came in ninth with a time of 24:29.2, while Kaster was less than a second behind her teammate in 10th place.

The Dallas women also competed at the Bill Libby Invitational and Anna Wilgenbusch won her sixth-straight race and while breaking her own school record from last week. Wilgenbusch led the Crusaders to a sixth place team finish in the 6K race finishing with a winning time of 22:23.4.

Austin College and Schreiner also sent runners to the race. Madison Barnum, Danielle Lozano, and Becca Tobias all set new personal records for the 'Roos at the meet with Barnum leading the way in 23rd place with a time of 25:39.2. Five Schreiner runners posted season-best times at the Bill Libby, with Sarah Endres leading her team with a 51st-place finish in a time of 27:38.5.

Trinity also ran at the Arturo Barrios Texas A&M Invitational where four Tigers had new personal records set at the meet, while two others missed their personal bests by eight seconds or less. Jordan Juran paced Trinity with her personal-best time of 22:51.8 that earned her 137th place and moved her up a spot in Trinity's record book. 

The Colorado College women finished in fifth place Saturday at the Lewis & Clark Invitational. Sophomore Lucy Wagner finished 23rd overall and led two other CC runners that all finished within one second of Wagner, who covered the 6K course in a time of 23:32.0. Alexia Preston was 24th in 23:32.3, while Emily Dwyer placed 25th in 23:32.7.

St. Thomas competed at the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational, with Abby Ringen leading UST runners by completing the 6K course in a time of 25:20.2.

Texas Lutheran was also in California, running at the UC-Riverside Highlander Invitational. The Bulldogs posted a 21st place team finish, led by Kylee Garcia's 77th place individual finish in a 6K time of 23:05.29. 

All teams are off next weekend in preparation for the 2019 SCAC Cross Country Championship, which will be held Saturday, November 2 and hosted by Colorado College. Click here for the official website of this year's championship.
