LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sophomore Anna Wilgenbusch earned All-America honors at the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday, highlighting performances from five SCAC student-athletes who competed. Complete Results

Wilgenbusch became Dallas' first-ever cross country All-American with a 38th-place finish on the EP Tom Sawyer State Park course, navigating the 6K in a time of 22:10.9. She is the 13th woman in SCAC history to earn All-America honors at this event and her performance marks the fourth-straight year the conference has produced a Division III women's cross country All-American. Leah Wessler and Katie Sandfort of Colorado College both earned All-American honors in 2016 and Molly McCullough of Trinity earned AA accolades in both 2017 and 2018.

Wilgenbusch earned a slot in the NCAA Championship with her first-place finish last week at the DIII South/Southeast Region Championship at Memphis, Tenn. 

Also competing in this year's women's national championship meet were senior Brianna Ratliff and junior Jordan Juran of Trinity. Ratliff finished in 95th place in a time of 22:50.8 and Juran was 237th in a time of 24:03.0. Ratliff was the second-fastest runner from the South/Southeast Region, following her 10th place finish at last weekend's NCAA Regional Meet. Juran's finish represented an improvement from her first attempt at the NCAA Championships as a first-year runner in 2017.

Johns Hopkins won the team title, its sixth total and third in the last four years, turning the tables on second-place Washington (Mo.) who had defeated the Blue Jays by a single point at last year's meet.

On the men's side, two SCAC runners competed in this year's event. Trinity senior Harry Bellow placed 111th with a finishing time of 25:32.6 over the 8K course, and Colorado College senior Tony Calderon was 195th in a time of 26:04.1.

Bellow tied for the fifth-highest finish in Trinity men's cross country history. After finishing ninth at Regionals last weekend, he was the fifth-fastest South/Southeast Region runner in today's event.

Calderon, the reigning SCAC Runner-of-the-Year, was the first CC male to run at the national meet since Peter Callan in 2016.

The Pomona-Pitzer men took their first team title in program history, defeating defending champion North Central, 164-182.
