AVERY TUGGLE OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior outside hitter from Cedar Creek, Texas, has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 21 through Sunday, October 27.

Tuggle led the Tigers with 57 kills totaling 3.56 kills per set and 71 digs totaling 4.44 digs per set over the weekend. She posted four double-doubles in five of the Tigers four matches, hitting .314 for the week. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Anna Stevenson of Dallas led the crusaders wiht 66.0 points. She totaled 55 kills equalling 3.24 kills per set over the four matches, including career-best 19 kills in win over St. Thomas. Sophomore Elizabeth Epley of Centenary posted 37 kills totaling 2.47 kills per set in the Ladies' four matches this past weekend while adding 11 blocks. Senior Jaci Chambers of Texas Lutheran averaged 5.38 assists, 2.13 kills, and 4.81 digs per set for the week, including 14 kills and 24 digs in the Bulldogs win over Schreiner. Sophomore Jacquelyn Ortiz of Johnson & Wales averaged 9.0 assists for the weekend, including 61-assist performance in the Wildcats' win over Dallas. Senior Jordan Mullins of Colorado College led the Tigers with a .329 hitting percentage while averaging 3.17 kills per set. She also produced 2.67 digs per set and had a hand in six blocked to help the Tigers post a 3-1 record. Sophomore Lauren Crabtree of Southwestern recorded 10 kills, 11 assists, and 10 digs against Trinity. She averaged 5.67 assists per set and had 14 service aces for the weekend as the Pirates went 3-1.
